Pax et Amor! Peace and Love! On behalf of the Knights of Saint Francis of Assisi (KOSF) in San Francisco, CA, Assisi, Italy and around the world!, I am reaching out to you hoping that you can support the Knights of Saint Francis in our amazing adventures and events celebrating the 800 year Anniversary of everyone’s favorite Saint, Francesco!!!

We are going to have events that have never before been had in San Francisco, to celebrate this amazing anniversary, a year I have waited for since I was a teenager. But, we need your help in order to achieve our goals for the year of bringing Francesco’s relics, and amazing medieval and renaissance art, writing a song composed by a famed composer at the Vatican and sung at three of our concerts by the tenor who just won the international musical award at the Vatican, Luciano Lamonarca, celebrating Piazza Saint Francis the Poets plaza, in our very own North beach and culminating in a grand gala in mid-October opening up the art works and debuting our song to Francesco. I know, a lot going on! But how very amazing it will be!

These celebrations and activities are meaningful traditions for our City, indeed historical; but they are not without cost. To ensure that we can successfully achieve our amazing goals for the 800-year anniversary, we need your help! Just as we built the Porziuncola Nuova together, we can achieve our goals, I just know it!

Your contribution will not only help cover next year’s excitement but also help us Knights of Saint Francis continue our amazing work at guarding and keeping the Porziuncola Nuova open, and our amazing work in the neighborhoods of our City.
